Filharmonia Wroclawska

Lovers of classical music have probably already heard of the Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra, which has been delighting audiences for over fifty years since the end of the Second World War. As well as entertaining the masses in its very own concert hall, the Orchestra is involved with a number special events, such as the 'Contemporary Polish Music Festival', the famous 'Wratislavia Cantans' and popular 'Philharmonic for the Young Festival'. If you can't find them at home it could be because they are on tour - the Orchestra has already 'conquered' most of Europe and in 2005 made its first jaunt across the pond, to the mighty US of A.

Unless it is a internationally-known artist or orchestra scheduled to play, you can buy tickets at the door nearly always. otherwise stop by the ticket booth a few days earlier during the day to pick up your ticket!

The website was easy to use and I found a concert for my future trip to Wroclaw. Not sure how to buy tickets though... hope I can buy some at the door!
