Wroclawski Teatr Pantomimy

|
When it comes to pushing the boundaries of theatre Wroclaw has a long and illustrious history. The dramatic pioneer Henryk Tomaszewski founded his own school of mime in 1956, and in 1959 it became a fully-fledged theatre and began to attract the world's attention as it sought to communicate with the audience neither through word or dance, but with movement. As H.T. said himself "When man is in motion, he is striving towards something, and gets lost. It is that being lost which is the most beautiful and fascinating of all." |
