Telecommunications Museum

|
Housed in a building that looks like it has been airlifted straight from Soviet Russia (and is in fact the pre-war German telecomms headquarters), this modest museum is a geek's paradise and a highlight of the Wroclaw museum circuit. Start by reading (in English!) all about the history of the Polish postal system and then move on to admire/laugh at the archaic phones and telegraph machines. Students of contempary society can make a great deal of the fact that several Nokia and Motorola mobile phones are included amongst the exhibits! |

the telecommunications museum is definitely a bit of fun on a rainy day. It's kind of old school, which adds to the charm. At least there was something to read in English!
