Housed in a building that looks like it has been airlifted straight from Soviet Russia (and is in fact the pre-war German telecomms headquarters), this modest museum is a geek's paradise and a highlight of the Wroclaw museum circuit. Start by reading (in English!) all about the history of the Polish postal system and then move on to admire/laugh at the archaic phones and telegraph machines. Students of contempary society can make a great deal of the fact that several Nokia and Motorola mobile phones are included amongst the exhibits!
"the telecommunications museum is definitely a bit of fun on a rainy day. It's kind of old school, which adds to the charm. At least there was something to read in English!"

"This museum is my favourite in Wroclaw. Lots of funky old machines - bit worried when I saw the mobiles phones in there too...my Ericsson can't be far behind!"
