Ethnographic Museum reviewed by Harry from United Kingdom on Apr.23.2008 | "ethnographical museum in Wroclaw? Great! some amazing temporary exhibitions"
Opera Wroclawska reviewed by Rob from United Kingdom on Mar.12.2008 | "the Wroclaw Opera House is a fantastic building, spectacularly lit at night - find it on Swidnicka street the main road leading to the Rynek. Inside it is equally grand and the Opera and Ballet companies here are superb with a great programme offering plenty of things to see throughout the season - and a real variety. Best of all the Wroclaw Opera is very cheap, especially if you think how much you pay to see a show on Broadway or in London's West End!!!"
Entropia Gallery reviewed by Dominika from Poland on Mar.11.2008 | "Entropia galeria in my favourite in Wroclaw. I hope to come back soon:)"
Raclawice Panorama reviewed by Sue from United Kingdom on Dec.05.2007 | "It was worth the journey just to see this painting, when I walked out onto the viewing gallery I couldn't believe how wonderful it was, I felt I was in the open air of the battle field. The explanation would have been better with headphones as there was the constant background noise of the commentary in another language whilst listening to your own."
St. John's Cathedral reviewed by Hubert from New Zealand on Nov.20.2007 | "a fantastic cathedral for a fantastic city. Views from the top were spectacular"
Teatr Muzyczny reviewed by Slinks from United Kingdom on Nov.16.2007 | "they also have some more cutting edge concerts and performances here such as Homoxymoron - a project featuring eL.U.Ce and Rahim"
Aula Leopoldina reviewed by Aurelia from Canada on Nov.03.2007 | "I love city Wroclaw and Aula Leopoldina stands aut. Greetings for all students and profesors!"
Aula Leopoldina reviewed by Aurelia from Canada on Nov.03.2007 | "I lovey city Wroclaw and Aula Leopoldina stands aut. Greetings for all students and profesors!"
Aula Leopoldina reviewed by Zach from United States on Oct.29.2007 | "This room is a must-see for anyone visiting Wroclaw. I have visited it many times. One of the tidbits of information about this room, as far as I can determine is this.
In "German times" this was Breslau University, which awarded Johannes Brahms an honorary degree. As his thank-you note, Brahms wrote the famous Academic Festival Overture.
So, for those who are musically inclined, when you stand in this magnificent room, you may stand where Brahms stood to receive his degree.
The room is overwhelming. You will never forget it."
Raclawice Panorama reviewed by Jestem Tourist from United States on Oct.22.2007 | "Come on guys, it aint that cool. The novelty of a 360 degree battlescene is cute, but it's also pretty easy to understand why the cylindrical painting thing never caught on. The history of the painting might be more interesting than the painting itself, especially if you know nothing about the Kosciuszki Insurrection. Bit more background on Polish history would have been helpful."
National Museum reviewed by Kiris Klimek from United States on Aug.15.2007 | "A jewel of a place - and a bargain with the entry fee from the panorama. Of all places!!- when I visited there was a special exhibit of Netherlandish paintings - with a sweet Bruegel included as a bonus."
Telecommunications Museum reviewed by Eric from United States on May.08.2007 | "the telecommunications museum is definitely a bit of fun on a rainy day. It's kind of old school, which adds to the charm. At least there was something to read in English!"
Museum of Architecture reviewed by Francis from United Kingdom on Jan.24.2007 | "I enjoyed my visit here. A nice building with some interesting exhibitions (i forget the theme now). It was either free or next to nothing to get in, so well worth popping your head in if you're passing"
University Museum & Tower reviewed by Kathy from United States on Oct.11.2006 | "The exhibition was a bit weird, but the tower is really cool. Nice views over the city on a sunny day"
Raclawice Panorama reviewed by Dawn Mc Cosker from Ireland on Apr.30.2006 | "Definate worthwhile visit; headphones with english commentary; tour lasts 30mins; and involves you in the painting. Even easy to handle with a vodka hangover!"
Military Museum reviewed by Rhodezinhio from United Kingdom on Jul.01.2005 | "This place is pretty cool actually. I love the old Arsenal building, and as well as the military museum there was an archaelogical museum and a modern art exhibition at the back (which i am sure no one else had discovered - there were no posters or anything!)"
National Museum reviewed by anna siemacha from Poland on Jun.30.2005 | "Remember: Opening hours: Closed Mondays and Tuesdays; Wednesdays, Fridays 10am-4pm; Thursdays 9am-4pm; Saturdays, Sundays 10am-6pm."
Telecommunications Museum reviewed by Dunc from United Kingdom on Jun.28.2005 | "This museum is my favourite in Wroclaw. Lots of funky old machines - bit worried when I saw the mobiles phones in there too...my Ericsson can't be far behind!"
Raclawice Panorama reviewed by Duncan R from United Kingdom on Jun.20.2005 | "Worth the hype - a great painting and a good job of making you feel part of the battle! Your ticket is then good for the National Museum down the road!"
