Here's something a bit different... This suave hangout is the kind of place where you'd expect to find some fin-de-siecle poet scribbling out verses and knocking back a few absinthes. Kalambur (full name Art Cafe Kalambur & Kalaczakra Gallery) is sure to appeal to creative souls, and its location not far from the university makes it a popular spot with the institution's arty alumni. Kick back with a coffee or something stronger and plan your own magnum opus. Later at night things heat up a notch or five, especially on Friday nights when parties continue until 7am!

This is when you want to be in Wroclaw. Check it at least for one party in the evening!

I've had many a drink here with my Polish friend Roland. It's a really relaxed vibe for boho drinkers, and they've just opened a back room for artsy goings on! Drop by!

Great place to stay for some beer and wodka. Try the Cherry-Vodka!

This is the best place in Wrocław, for me. It has a non-smoking room for those who wish to avoid stinking of shite, and the staff are fairly friendly (though not when you give them anything bigger than a 10 złoty bill to pay for something less than 10 złoty). The deco is fairly nice and the beer is of a decent standard. Not really into the music there myself but it's tolerable. Plus they have interesting events there, such as pro-vegaterian, and the such.

congratulation!! This is the most famous location I found in Wroclaw to meed a plenty of different but open people.

I went there recently - they opened the new place nextdoor - Kalaczakra - the same guys as Kalambur, the same sprit, more room, bigger party!

Best place in Wroclaw. Great people who are open and friendly. Best music. Especially on saturdays. Funny guy with his laptop and his incredible beats. You must feel this place!!!

Although there are hipper and newer bars, Kalambur is a Wroclawian classic is deserves to run forever. If you want to understand Wroclaw, go in here for a drink in the evenings in winter, and cram into a booth with some good friends.

all the funky (and alternative) people go to kalambur. it's the meeting point of artists and the most interesting people in wroclaw. the best parties until morning with best music. alternative concerts - you won't hear that music elsewhere.

Decent place to hang out for a beer, and a few interesting people. There are better bars in Wroclaw but this is a good starting point.
