Od Zmierzchu do Switu website

Inspired by the Tarantino film From Dusk Till Dawn, Wroclaw's bar by the same name, translated into Polish, Od Zmierzchu do Switu Music Club is a great place to grab a beer and listen to some live music. On Wednesdays the club organizes concerts for young bands, and on Thursdays you'll find weekly jam sessions. Weekends bring a rock dance party to this large cellar club playing all styles of rock hits from Beatles to Metallica, and true to its alternative nature the door is open to all kinds of people, though the cheap price of beer does attract a substantial amount of students. You'll also find a regular schedule of live rock concerts from local and international bands.

good rock cellar -that's what I mean by local-life!

Best rock bar here. A bit out of the main track but a real gem!

Hit the rock! This cellar rules! That's the place - it's a shame I didn't know it before!

It's a shame that you are closed in the Summer! I was here last year on the concert and it was really good! Hope to come to Wroclaw in October this year! See you there!

It took us a while to find a rock place in Wroclaw - this one is one of the best here! Worth trying - it's close to the Jewish district!

Great music, best rock bar we found here!

Yeah! the one place where I don't feel like a fool when I wear my all leather get up!

Wish you the best in the New Year. Keep the same quality of concerts! Best rock bar in Poland!

I only knew Niebo in Wroclaw before, but tried this one recently and must say it's also very good if not even better. They had live music on and it was pretty busy as well.

This hidden joint is really worth checking! We went there for a concert and it was fuckin good! We also stayed after the concert for a drink and we had a really good crack there. We will definitely come back!

This is the place to go! good live shows on Thursdays and sometimes Wednesdays. Good atmosphere and decor. Music is mostly classic rock, blues and metal. No overpriced drinks as well. Best rock pub I've been to.

True underground, no plastic, no pop, no crap!

reviewed by Greg from United States on Mar.30.2009

Hit the rock! Cool place, not a tourist circus! No plastic and techno!

reviewed by Martin from Austria on Jan.15.2009

Pretty hidden and underground so you need to know where to go before you'll find it, but it's truly worth! Not the bloody tourist place like the staff you get in Rynek, just 5 min from the Main Square!
