"This restaurant was recommended to us by a Pole as The Place to try Polish cuisine. If that's truly it, the experience was rather disappointing. We were given bread with lard and crackling before our meal. Bread was stale, and lard is just not my thing. For main, we had boar stew and a bowl of pierogi. The presentation was apalling, all sloppy and in shades of grey, but the food was decent enough, if overpriced for what it was. We were also told to check out the bar part of the place, as one of the microbrewery's copper vats was on display there, but had to back out almost immediately, the cigarette smoke was so thick. The whole thing had a rather grotty feel about it. Wouldn't recommend." | Frankie United Kingdom Jun.01.2010 Overall rating 2/5 |
