Novocaina Restaurant

The simplicity of Italian cuisine has its many advocates, and none keener than the owners of this restaurant on the Rynek. The ideology behind Novocaina is to create Italian dishes from the very finest quality ingredients and recipes, which is why they only select organic foodstuffs and cook their cuisine with an authentic sandstone oven fuelled by cherry wood. Impressive stuff! The decor is no let-down either, and certainly a bit more inventive than your average Italian joint. A fusion of baroque and modern styles, inside you'll find vast and slightly sinister oil painting overhanging gilt-framed plasma TV screens. And with so much space, you can comfortably bring a group of friends and choose from the main floor or the two mezzanines above - you even have a great view onto the Market Square from one!

Absolutely nr one in Wroclaw. I used to be here at least 2/3 days per week over the last two years and I was never disappointed. Can recommend it to all newcomers!

Steaks were very good! It was a nice surprise as usually beef in Poland is rather poor quality. We had the real sirloin - really well prepared! Also big plus for the atmosphere. A place not to miss.

WOW the room is huge. We really enjoyed the combination of baroque decor and hip, almost street art inspired paintings. Check out the club downstairs too!

This is a really nice place. We chose the table with the view on the market and we enjoyed our time a lot.

I'm forced to admit it is one of the best places in Poland and the very best place in Wroclaw I've been to. Food was impressive, staff really nice and good-looking. In fact interior is a bit over the top, but it's a matter of personal taste (my girlf really liked it) the disco underneath was also cool

Don't forget eastern Europeans don't smile much...that's the culture.

Cool place. Yup the decor is a bit much when you're trying to have a laid back meal, but then again it's a club too, right? Food was tasty.

The decor is a bit trippy here, but the food was really good. The waitress could have been a bit more smiley, but everyone's entitled to an off day i suppose. I'd go again.
