'Under the Griffins' is a long-runner of the Wroclaw cafe and restaurant scene, and been a city fave since opening its doors way back in 1992. Throne-like armchairs and hundreds of framed photos are just part of the slightly potty decor which contribute to the Pod Gryfami's refined but relaxed atmosphere, whilst the old-style Polish cuisine, with the odd international dish, is heralded as some of the best on the Main Square. Go wild with roast duck and apples, dished up with Silesian dumplings, and finish your meal with a Griffin coffee - a house speciality served with almond liqueur.
