| Archive of Jadwiga Sornik Born in Upper Silesia in 1892, Jadwiga Sornik moved to Wroclaw before the First World War. She began her work as a photographer and was most active in the aftermath of the Second World War in the summer of 1945. | Concert: Porcupine Tree British prog rockers Porcupine Tree will be performing at the huge Hala Orbita in Wroclaw this month. Founder Steven Wilson has been leading the band since the late 80s, shaping their sound through the years exploring metal and ambient atmospheres. Porcupine Tree continues to tour internationally, though they do have a particularly devoted fanbase in Poland.
