Musical migrants will find a feast to savour in Wroclaw over the coming days. The 26th Festival of Contemporary Polish Music is getting into gear, with a host of distinguished names descending on the city.
Poland has gained an outstanding reputation for contemporary music in recent times, largely thanks to big names like Penderecki, Lutoslawski and Gorecki.
The Musica Polonica Nova festival offers music lovers the chance to get to know some of the lesser known and up and coming figures on the Polish scene.
Besides the Wroclaw Philharmonic Hall, the festival is being staged at four other venues: the Aula Leopoldynska, the Opera Wroclawska, the Oratorium Marianum and the IMPART Art Centre.
