Nam June Paik in Wroclaw
One of Wroclaw's biggest art exhibitions of 2008 is now on display at the WRO Art Centre. Nam June Paik's "Driving Media" will showcase the influential artist's work from his installations, graphics and video work. The American artist is best known through his work in the Neo-Dada Fluxus movement, based in New York City. Here he began his lifelong passion with media-based art, and began working with video and particularly televisions. He has also contributed to many works of performance art, where Paik explored his fascination with the possibilities within multi- and inter-disciplinary art.
