Wroclaw has recently joined Warsaw and Krakow as the only cities in Poland to offer taxi services fully equipped to accommodate small children.
Starting March 2009, Ascotaxi and Radio Taxi Serc will offer a total of 43 taxis kitted out with car seats for children of all ages. Sponsored by Liberty Direct, this initiative is aimed to educate parents and guardians about the importance of travelling safely with their child. Not least important is the simple fact that the decision to travel by taxi is no longer a decision to travel unsafely.
The cabs are able to accommodate children from 6 months to 12 years and can be ordered by calling Ascotaxi at 9455 or Radio Taxi Serc at 196 29 at least 30 minutes in advance. There is no extra charge for the service.
