Starbucks Opening Soon

Coffee lovers rejoice! Starbucks, the international purveyors of the coffeehouse experience, will be opening their second Polish location in Wroclaw on April 16th.

The corporate vibe may not be for everyone, but there's no denying the arabica coming out of this place is top notch, plus snacks from sandwiches to cakes are all reliable choices as well.

The Wroclaw location can be found at the newly constructed Grunwaldzki Centre on the corner of Grunwaldzki Square and Marii Sklodowkiej-Curie Street. The space will stretch over 280 metres squared with seating for 75.

Local, infinitely more charming, cafes will still have to shape up their coffee chops if they plan on competing with this corporate giant, who not only brings mouthwatering drinks but that seductively cool image. Hopefully this will not cause the start of summertime sightings of Nicole Richie-types sipping their low-foam fat-free lattes through straws while flip flopping across the Market Square. Scary!

Their sandwiches suck but I love the coffee for its consistency in quality!
