It wasn't easy, but after a long hard fight in Turkey, the Polish men's volleyball team have been crowned champions of Europe. The Polish team beat the French side 3-1 in the finals, while Bulgaria beat out Russia for the bronze. Led by Argentinean coach Daniel Castellani and the European Championship's Most Valuable Player Piotr Gruszka, the team has managed to land Poland its first gold medal in a European Championship. Thousands of fans greeted the team upon their return to Poland on Monday, celebrating this remarkable moment for Poland's sports community.
