Wroclaw Opera Star Wins Top Prize

One of the Wroclaw Opera's soloists Aleksandra Kubas has won the first prize at the 4th International Competition of Opera Singers in Lviv, Ukraine.

The soprano singer competed against over 100 other professionals, winning the hearts of jurors at the final concert in which she sang Gilda's aria from Verdi's Rigoletto.

To experience Kubas' powerful voice in person, head to the Wroclaw Opera this season where the singer performs such roles as Susanna in Mozart's Marriage of Figaro, Adina in Donizetti's L'Elisir d' Amore, and Hanna in Moniuszko's Haunted Manor. Check the Opera's website for more info.
