A second office for the European Parliament is needed in Poland, and after much fierce debate between Polish MEPs, the city of Wroclaw has been chosen as its location. The choice must still be approved by the European Commission, however with support from local Wroclaw residents and European politicians (including former President of the Czech Republic Vaclav Havel) there is a great chance of the office opening in Wroclaw by next year.
The new European Parliament office will promote the organization by producing related publications and organizing discussions and conferences.
The original European Parliament office for Poland is located in Warsaw.
