With the Vancouver Winter Olympics fast approaching, the question on everyone's lips in Poland is - who will return with a medal?
Of its 46 team members across 11 sports, the Polish team has three top competitors - Justyna Kowalczyk, Adam Malysz, and Tomasz Sikora.
Justyna Kowalczyk is considered Poland's top competitor in Vancouver and is a defending World Cup holder. She recently won the women's pursuit in Rybinsk, Russian leading through the entire event and winning all points available.
Ski jumper Adam Malysz is considered by many as past his peak and continues to struggle to stay on top. However, his experience and skill mean he remains a strong competitor for Poland.
Finally, Tomasz Sikora, Poland's top biathlete, is also considered a medal contender. He started 2009 placing no.1 in World Cup standings, though recently he took sixth place in a men's 12.5k pursuit in Antholz, Italy.
Watch Poland's Winter Olympic team in action starting February 12 2010.
