Wroclaw Unveils Euro 2012 Logo

 

Host cities for the Euro 2012 football championship have unveiled their unique city logos. Wroclaw is one of the handful of Polish cities including Warsaw, Gdansk, and Poznan, who along with cities in Ukraine, which will host matches during the event.

While Warsaw’s logo displays its famous mermaid and seaside city Gdansk chose the god of the sea Neptune as its icon, the city of Wroclaw took a slightly different approach. Wroclaw’s logo, as seen below, features its famous Grundwaldzki bridge along with two smiling red lips.
