Nowe Horyzonty Festival Underway
Arguably Wroclaw's most diverse and vibrant annual event, Nowe Horyzonty Festival, has kicked off ten days of film, art, and music.
A film festival first and foremost, Nowe Horyzonty is screening a huge mix of films large and small from across the globe. Apart from the usual competition screenings, the festival features several film series such as an exploration into Norwegian film or a retrospective of Terry Gilliam.
Nowe Horyzonty also has a strong focus on musical performances, with the T-Mobile Music in Arsenal series presenting concerts by such artists as Jaga Jazzist and Biosphere. The festival headliner, however, is Nick Cave, with his Grinderman project.
