Klitschko Beats Adamek in Wroclaw Fight

The much anticipated fight between boxing champions Vitali Klitschko and Polish boxer Tomasz Adamek ended in the tenth round, when the referee stopped the fight leaving Klitschko victorious on a technical knockout.

The first world heavyweight fight in Poland's history, Klitschko vs. Adamek drew over 40 000 spectators to Wroclaw's newly built stadium. Many multiplex cinemas across Poland also screened the event for those eager to support their national hero.

While Adamek had counted on his speed an agility to gain advantage over Klitschko, the Ukrainian boxer easily dominated the fight, not least because of his size - 110kg to Adamek's 98kg.
