Christmas Market Opens
The annual Christmas Market opens this weekend in Wroclaw on Swidnicka Street in the Old Town. Here you can find vendors from the region and beyond selling handicrafts, Christmas decorations, jewelry, pottery, and more. As always there will be plenty of food and drink to be had as well, including roasted chestnuts, mulled wine, and hot mead.
There's more to the Christmas Market than just shopping and eating however. Other attractions include ice sculptures, a huge illuminated Christmas tree, as well as many fairy tale characters such as Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, and more. Not to mention visits from Santa Claus! All in all, it's a wonderful day out for the whole family.
The Wroclaw Christmas Market will be open from 25 November to 23 December, from 10am to 9pm daily.
