Radiohead Guitarist and Penderecki Collaborate on New Album
Polish modern classical music icon Krzysztof Penderecki has collaborated with guitarist of acclaimed British group Radiohead Jonny Greenwood in a new album. The pair first began their collaboration for a concert in Wroclaw, as part of the European Congress of Culture.
It turns out that the duo recorded the project during the Congress, with the help of the AUKSO Chamber Orchestra from the Silesian town of Tychy. The album will include works by Penderecki as well as pieces composed by Greenwood which were influenced by the Polish composer.
Jonny Greenwood / Krzysztof Penderecki will be released on 13 March 2012.
