Wizz Air announces Wroclaw to Dortmund
Wizz Air, Central and Eastern Europe's largest low-fare, low-cost airline announced today that it would start operations from Wroclaw to Dortmund. With this move, the number of Polish cities served by Wizz Air increases to five including Katowice, Warsaw, Gdansk and Poznan.
Wizz Air's announcement to launch services from Wroclaw comes a week after the airline decided to establish its third - the second in Poland – crew base in Warsaw to underline its commitment to and leadership in Poland. Since the start of operations in May 2004 Wizz Air has carried close to 1.5 million passengers on the airline's routes to and from Poland.
Wroclaw operation will start on 1st March 2006 with 5 weekly flights to Dortmund. Tickets are already on sale for as low as 19 PLN (excluding taxes and charges) on wizzair.com or by calling the Wizz Air call centre on +48 (22) 351 94 99.
