Alexandra Choir comes to Wroclaw
The Alexandra Choir Company (Chor Alexandrowa) is coming to Wroclaw this March for what should prove an amazing extravaganza in the Hala Ludowa. Their previous concerts in the same venue, in 2004 and 2005, proved great successes, filling the house with an audience of all ages and receiving critical acclaim.
The Company is made up of a Men's Choir, a mixed dancing troop as well as an orchestra and they have a staggering repertoire of 2,000 pieces to regail their audiences with (not all on the same night!)
The Choir has come a long way - both metaphorically and literally - since being founded in 1928. It has grown from a 12-piece outfit to its current size and toured over 40 coutnries all around the world.
