Officials at Wroclaw Airport in Lower Silesia, Poland have announced the planning of a new terminal to help the transport hub cope with ever-increasing traffic. In 2005 the airport saw 454,000 people pass through and authorities are planning for a whopping 50% increase in 2006.
The new terminal, to be finished by 2008, will increase the airport's total passenger to capacity to 2 million and will be built at an estimated cost of 100-120 million zloty (around 25-30 million Euros). It will be built 1.5 kilometres from the existing terminal.
