Roman Invasion

The Romans never made it as far as fair Polska during their Empire days but thanks to Central Wings, those Italian wayfarers finally have the chance to touch down in Wroclaw and see what all the fuss is about.

Centralwings, the no-frills branch of Lot airlines, launched their new route - Rome (Ciampino) to Wroclaw's Copernicus Airport - at the end of October 2006, and is sure to give both Italians and Poles something to cheer about.

No one can argue that Wroclaw shares the grandeur and illustrious history of Rome, but nonetheless we're confident that plenty of Italians will want to 'visit the Venice of Poland', with its bountiful waterways, fine architecture, great bar and restaurant scene, and crazy nightlife!

Wroclaw will be the third Polish city served by Centralwings from Rome, and routes to both 'Cracovia' and Varsavia have proved very popular.
