The End Is Near

The Wroclaw-based AmRest restaurant group has announced their signing of an agreement with the colossal US coffee company Starbucks, which could result in the opening of Starbucks stores across Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary and officially set in motion the subsequent death of all that is sacred. AmRest currently runs more than 200 restaurants in these three EU member countries, including the US brands KFC and Pizza Hut, and as recently as last month, was awarded development rights for Burger King Corporation in Poland. With this new Starbucks contract, branches of the franchise could open in Poland within eight to ten months. [Be strong. Yuppification is yours to resist.]
