Wroclaw Zoo

Visiting the Wroclaw Zoo is one of the best ways you can spend a day in this part of the world. Full of history, this zoological garden opened its doors back in 1865 and has survived two world wars. Through the years it has grown to represent the largest and most varied collection of species in Poland. With almost 7000 animals, representing 600 different species - this zoo can rival many in Europe. Take a day off with the kids to see a Bengal tiger, a very rare maned wolf or a red-eyed Mexican tree frog. Let's be honest, you don't have to have kids to want to see those things! Wroclaw Zoo

"Zoo was great! I stared a fully grown tiger in the eyes separated by only a thin pane of glass... awesome. Some great specimen here and the conditions for the animals seemed sufficient... although some much needed restoration work to be done. I heard that a vast new water zone type thing will be built soon, with hippos, fish, amphibians, reptiles... sounds amazing. Oh and i met two really nice girls too... Czesc Ewa i Patti:)"

"Hello, It was quite nice to go there and see the diffrent animals. But it is a little small and the pads where to walk on are not so good. I would rate it a 3."
