Wroclaw's Main Train Station (Dworzec Glowny in Polish) is a suitably impressive, albeit ageing building, with which to greet newcomers to the city by train. Left luggage, half-decent toilet facilities and an array of shops and eateries (including KFC and MacDonalds of course) reassure you that you have not arrived in some East European backwater. Location wise you'll find yourself south of the city, about twenty five minutes walk from the Main Square. If you're leaving Wroclaw by train then be sure to allow a good half an hour or more to buy tickets - queues at the booths can get pretty long.
