Copernicus Airport

|
Wroclaw's Copernicus Aiport lies around 12km West of the city in Strachowice. A small but functional airport, Copernicus has all the facilities you should need in passing, such as a handful of shops and eateries, a post office, ATM, bureau d'exchange and first aid unit, even if it can't boast a range of designer boutiques that jetsetters flying through the likes of Heathrow or Charles De Gaulle. Expansions have been planned in preparation for Euro 2012, and with more and more cheap airlines choosing to fly here it's unlikely to be long before Wroclaw airport becomes a major transport hub. We look forward for the new terminal which should be open in 2011.

I'm travelling to Poland quite often due to my business. I noticed that there is more and more direct flights to Wroclaw which is a very positive sign. The city grows so the airport does the same ;)
