Main Train Station

Train station is under reconstruction, however, it does not seem near completion. There is a temporary train station entrance now directly across from the bus station. Only a handful of terminals, and no teller service. Tickets are available at machines to the right of the entrance about 100 feet. Keep your wits about you in this station, as many vagrants and beggers hang out here. There's no seating, it's just the bones of the station and a screen to see arrivals. Don't arrive too early before departure as this is definitely not a place you want to be waiting around for a while.

International Friends of Wroclaw

Hello there, i am an Australian that has just recently moved to Wroclaw as i met my Polish fiance on my 2 year travels while living in the UK.My Question is I am looking for some information about getting health insurance as in who is the cheapest and what company would be best being a foreigner and my situation. I am not a student and will not be working as my fiance and myself are applying for a Partner Visa for Australia and that process simply takes time, so if you have any helpful information that could steer me in the right direction it would be very much appreciated. Thank you Matt

Link Language School

If you are at all interested in learning Polish, go to this school!! I took courses during my stay in Wrocław and learned so much each and every time. My instructor, Marta, is not only an amazing instructor, but a great friend. Marta helped my girlfriend and I with many issues that we would have otherwise had tremendous difficulty overcoming. I look forward to seeing everyone at Link soon! Miss you guys already. Cody P.S. Marta, could you please ask Seb and Pablo find me on Facebook? Thanks!

Link Language School

In September I took a three week individual class at Link language school in Wroclaw, and I don´t regret my choice! Learning Polish there was great, I had lots of fun with the teacher, I enjoyed the classes and learned a lot. Compared to two other language courses I took before, this was definitely the best school, where I made the best progress in learning this hard language! I plan on coming back to Wroclaw next summer – and of course I will again take classes at Link language school!

Link Language School

Hello everybody! If you want to learn polish, I advise you to go to LINK school! This summer I took an individual course for 3 weeks and I've learned really a lot there! The time flies when you choose to go there, because the lessons are fun and the teachers are really nice!I think they teach you polish in a very efficient way and on your personal level!

Link Language School

Last summer I followed a 2,5 weeks intensive course at Link in Wroclaw. I really enjoyed all lessons and learned Polish very fast. The teaching method at Link is never boring which helps you to stay focused during the lessons. The teachers are very enthousiastic and patient and they can adjust the lessons to your needs and preferences. I also liked the activities next to the classes to get to know your fellow students and experience Poland (Acrobranch was great!). I would recommend this school for anyone who is looking for a good school to learn Polish!

Link Language School

Last month I had the great pleasure of taking a two-week course of one-to-one lessons at the Link School of Polish in Plac Solny, with the aim of consolidating and developing what I have learned while studying in the UK. Marta compared learning a language with swimming in an ocean and with her help, encouragement, good humour and a bit of chivvying, I have been able to take a few more steps into the water. At least I now have the confidence that I won't drown! Studying Polish in its home country was a marvellous experience, and my only regret is that I was unable to stay in Wrocław for a little while longer. Now back in the UK, I feel more motivated than ever to continue learning Polish, fortunate in having excellent teachers both in Poland, and here in England.

Medical Service

I am 41 and opted to have 2 procedures as it fitted in with my circumstances at this point in time - however it was made very clear to me if I was not physically up to the second operation they would not go ahead and that in a nutshell is what they are about...patient welfare. From the moment I started emailing Aga Mazur with my many questions, to meeting Dr Waclawowicz for the first time (who is a lovely man, with lots of empathy and a good sense of humour) to the other nurses and hospital staff I have absolutely no regrets with going to Poland and using Medical Service. The hospital was first class with no complaints from me. I am extremely happy with the results, and could not have asked for better care - Aga is a fantastic lady who was so helpful and kind was hard to say goodbye. I am very happy to recommend 100% Medical Service and Dr Waclawowicz (as my GP’s nurse who saw my stitches said ‘whoever did this is an artist!’)

Tattoo Studio

Marco, you can find here a place for your car. Some of them are for free, but mostly, in area of Rynek, it's paid. Depends of arrival time ;)

June 2011 Refurbishment has been going on for more than a year... Main building blocked, tunnel blocked, new entrance opened a few days ago. Currently 11 minutes by foot to go from one side to the other. Enjoying the fun every time I miss my train.
