Now Afryka Coffee and Tea House
Poles have always had something of a soft spot for the coffee bean. And as it was, Europe's first ever cafe was opened by a Pole in Vienna in 1683. This was by the legendary Jerzy Kulczycki, a sort of seventeenth century James Bond character who had spent many years living undercover in Turkey. After King Jan Sobieski repulsed the Turks from the gates of Vienna, Kulczycki was rewarded with the Grand Viziers coffee supplies, as well as permission to open a cafe in Vienna. Here in this shop you'll find enough varieties of coffee to impress any connoisseur of the venerable bean. DROP BY AND PICK YOURSELF UP A PRESENT.
