Dwor Polski

Also known as the Hotel Salve, the Dwor Polski is a Wroclaw classic which charts its romantic history back to the 16th Century. Legends abound about this hotel and 'The Polish Court' is even said to have been the rendez-vous point of King Sigismund III and Anne of Habsburg before they tied the knot. Wooden floor boards, creaking oak beams, polished suits of armour and medieval swords help retain a flavour of times yore; whilst mini-bars, satellite TVs and internet connection in the rooms offer guests all the modern comforts they need. Be sure to check out the Dwor Polski's separate restaurant, pub and cafe. Each make a fine refreshment point.

Dwor Polski

"I spent one night in the Dwor Polski Oct 07. It was fine for my needs. Where some people see charm, others may see a hotel in need of brightening-up. It was clean and the staff were helpful. I had to eat breakfast standing-up, because there were no available seats in the tiny breakfast room. "
