If you're thinking of stopping off in Wroclaw this summer, then the countrywide Dizzy Daisy Chain is one budget accommodation option that you might want to bear in mind. You can find them close to the the botanical gardens in the north side of town, just fifteen or so minutes from the Market Square - so you won't have to thumb a lift to get into town. The hostel has all the usual facilities, such as internet access and a safe for valuables. There is 24 hour reception and rooms come in singles, doubles, triples and quadruples. Currently the hostel operates only in July and August, but if the travellers keep coming... who knows?
